UPDATES On Ondo Election: Violence Rocks Owo As Hoodlums Snatch Ballot Box (PHOTO)

Reports reaching DAILY POST from Owo Local Government area of Ondo State show that the governorship election in the state has been marred with violence.

Some hoodlums have shattered the ballot box and hijacked the ballot papers.

DAILY POST gathered that all efforts by security personnel drafted to the polling booth to stop the situation hit the rocks.

This is coming barely 24 hours after two persons lost their lives during an outbreak of violence.

Owo is the hometown of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

Another news reaching us from the Nation inform us that a combined team of security officials has arrested four young men while reportedly attempting to snatch ballot boxes at the Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje local government.

The men who arrested and handcuffed have been taken away in a police patrol vehicle to the Divisional Police Office in Igbokoda.

The suspects were between the ages of 25 and 30.
