Chelsea Star Eden Hazard Has Rejected A New Contract Offer And Could Leave Next Summer, According To His Father Thierry Hazard
The Belgian has just two years left on his contract and Chelsea are keen on keeping him at the club Amid Interest from Europe’s Top Clubs.
Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for some time now and it seems the deal might take place if Chelsea fail to act fast.
Man United were reported to be willing to break the British World Record for the Star Man But a deal is unlikely because of the Rivalry between the two clubs.
However, Chelsea are willing to make Hazard the Highest-paid footballer in the Premier League but his dad has claimed he rejected the offer.
Theiry Hazard went further to say his son is waiting for a contract offer from real Madrid and then compare the two deal before making a decision.
“What I can say about Eden is that he refused an extension of contract to be able, if necessary, to follow the interest of the Real, where he would see himself well,” Thierry Hazard told Le Soir.
“But, as I speak to you, there is no contact.
“Eden is only one of the parties to the contract.”
It was reported earlier this month that Chelsea’s contract offer was worth £300,000-a-week.
Hazard has previously toyed with the idea of moving to the Spanish capital and has spoken of his admiration for Zidane.
“Everyone knows the respect I have for Zidane as a player, but also as a manager. He was my idol.
“I do not know what will happen in my career in the future. However, for sure, to play under Zidane would be a dream.
