Eagles Move Up One Place

Nigeria climbed one place to 50th in the world and are still in Africa’s top ten according to the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

On the 51st position from the last ranking, the Eagles earned three more points from 616 to 619 to move one step forward just behind Congo DR to place seventh in Africa.

Senegal are the number one ranked side in Africa after looping over the Ivory Coast with 743 points 755.

The world ranking is lead by Argentina who has 1634 points and is followed by fellow South America rivals Brazil in second place.
